Before half-term, Year 5 children visited Winmarleigh Hall, a PGL centre near Lancaster, for three days of outdoor activities and adventure.
Winmarleigh Hall was formerly a spectacular traditional Victorian estate. Set in 50 acres of gardens, parkland and woodland, the building retains many original features and its grounds are large enough for children to explore and experience a range of fantastic activities!
Winmarleigh Hall offers a variety of activities that our children took part in, including:
-zipwire
-climbing
-orienteering
-a challenge course
-survival skills
Many of these activities were challenging and required us to face our fears and work together as a team.
We greatly enjoyed our three days away, spending time with our classmates and teachers, having fun and being active.
See our photos for all of the action from the week.
