Friday Update – 27th November 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had another busy week in school. Those of you who follow us on Twitter will have seen how much the children have achieved this week. Our children are so enthusiastic with everything they do; their resilience and diligence is inspirational, particularly during such challenging times.

Over the last couple of months, I have had to make some health and safety decisions that have been counter-intuitive at times, for example asking children not to mix on the playground after school. We continue to do everything we can to minimise contact between bubbles, to reduce the number of close contacts who would be required to self-isolate and to reduce the spread of Covid-19. I would like to thank you for your support with this.

Our Christmas celebrations begin on Monday with the arrival of our Christmas trees. As things are different this year, I would like to ask the children not to bring in lots of Christmas cards for their friends but to perhaps bring one card for the whole class. Year group Christmas parties are the week after next. Children will need to come to school wearing their party clothes and with an individual bag of party snacks.
