Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back to school after what has been a challenging few months. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces this week. The children have returned to school life with enthusiasm and excitement. Their resilience after the events of the past year is truly remarkable.
Our focus this week has been helping our children to feel safe and secure in school and supporting them to reconnect with their friends. Over the coming weeks, teachers will be working hard to identify next steps for all our children. Thanks to some extra government funding, there will be additional members of staff in school in the summer term. This is to help address any gaps in learning caused by the disruption to education our children have faced. I will update you with more information closer to the Easter break.
Let’s hope this lovely sunshine lasts all weekend.
