Friday Bulletin & Diary Dates – 13th March 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

We celebrated Sports Relief today with a day of dodgeball in school. Thank you for your generous donations; it’s greatly appreciated.

I am sure many of you are worried about the current health situation in the UK. Schools are receiving daily updates from the Department of Education and Public Health England and we are also in receipt of advice from Gateshead Council.

We are currently following the government’s advice to support children with regular hand washing and in the use of hand sanitiser. For example, we have been sharing videos like this one by Newsround with the children.

There is a great deal of uncertainty about what will happen over the coming weeks and months. I will keep you as informed as I possibly can through the school website and Facebook page.

I have taken the decision to postpone parents’ evenings next week. We will reschedule these for after the Easter holidays. In the meantime, if you would like to speak to your child’s teacher before the Easter holiday, please contact the school office on 0191 433 4140.
