Friday Bulletin – Friday 13th May 2016
Several months ago, the Kells Lane School Council wrote to you to encourage as many people as possible to take part in the Children’s Cancer Run, scheduled to take place this Sunday at Gosforth Racecourse. Amelie, Sophie, James and Sam are extremely proud and grateful to have the second largest number of recruits amongst all the schools taking part.
It promises to be a very special event for such an important cause. Look out for the Kells Lane banner on Sunday morning! For more details please visit the official website via this link http://www.neccr.org.uk/event/childrens-cancer-run-2016/.
I was pleased to be able to bring you some good news this week regarding our dining hall. I have been informed that the building is now structurally safe and am now awaiting written confirmation of this. Once this confirmation has been received, and following a period of deep cleaning, I intend to reopen the dining hall for children on Wednesday 8th June 2016. As stated in my letter, the building does require some repair and maintenance work; this will be completed during the summer holidays. Many thanks for your support and patience and please accept my apologies for any inconvenience.
Enjoy your weekend.
