Road Safety

It should be noted that parents are responsible for their children getting to school safely. This has special significance where the crossing of busy roads is involved. If there is no crossing patrol person on duty where one is normally in attendance, responsibility for crossing remains with parents. We request that parents do not park directly outside the school or on the pavement. This is an official crossing point for children entering and leaving school.

Car Parking

In the interests of children's safety, parents may not park in the school grounds unless on official business e.g. compiling a report for the governing body. When on foot, please set a good example for the children by using the footpaths and keeping to the left through the car park. We advise that those travelling by car use the parking area on Lowery's Lane. Staff have been issued with car parking passes which are now displayed in their vehicles whilst on the premises.
