Residential Visits

In addition to the sporting clubs offered to the pupils of Kells Lane Primary School, the children in Year 6 have been offered the following outdoor or adventurous residential visits:

The five day residential visit to Winmarleigh Hall field study centre includes orienteering, use of extensive ICT facilities, design technology and numerous outdoor activities. Accompanying staff in 2008: Miss Heath, Mrs Hutchinson, Miss Nagle, Mrs Stephenson, and Mr Sweeney.

Residential visit for four days in the London area includes visiting Downing Street, an evening theatre visit, Thames river cruise, London Eye, The Houses of Parliament, Natural History and Science Museums. Normally during Whitweek holiday week depending upon numbers. Accompanying staff in 2009 were: Chris Hewitson, Mr and Mrs Hewitson, Mrs Hutchinson, Mr McIntosh, Miss Nagle and also Mr and Mrs Sweeney.
