Child Protection

Our first priority is always your child's welfare. However, in terms of child protection this means that there may be an occasion when our concern about your child means that we have to consult other agencies, before we contact you.

The Gateshead Area Child Protection Committee has laid down procedures, which we must follow. A summary of the school's approach to protecting children is contained in our Child Protection Policy, which is in the school office. Mrs Hewitson is in charge of Child Protection.
