Accident or Illness

In the event of your child becoming ill or having an accident at school, we need to contact you quickly. You will be asked to give a telephone number or address where you may be reached during the day. We also need the number of another contact, in case we are unable to reach you. It is very important that your child sees a familiar face from home as soon as possible after an accident, or if they feel ill, so do keep those details updated. If your child suffers a bump to the head or face, a separate letter is sent showing that it was dealt with by school staff. In the event of a serious accident or illness, an ambulance will be called and then contact will be made with parents who will be asked to meet their child and school staff at the hospital.
