Our programme is based on the Gateshead Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education. Recent legislation states that the teaching in this area must be broadly Christian but promote understanding and awareness of other faiths. As we live in a multi-cultural society we feel that our teaching should reflect this along with a strong emphasis on moral teaching and values. Parents who are considering exercising their right to withdraw their children from Religious Education are asked to first inform the Headteacher.
