For safety reasons, children may not wear jewellery in school, although this does not preclude the wearing of watches. Children should leave watches at home on days when they have PE, games, or swimming lessons.
Earrings are not to be worn in school at any time, for health and safety reasons. If parents are thinking of having their children’s ears pierced this should be done during the first week of the summer holidays as this gives enough time for ears to heal and earrings to be taken out for school in September.
